A Place to Hide

Looking for a perfect hiding place is kind of hard to find, except when we know where to look. Some places, we think are the perfect places, ends up to be not so.

If we know “Why” we are hiding, and “Who” we are hiding from, maybe “That” will give us some clue, as to where that perfect place could be.

Where can we hide, if Jesus is looking for us? Is there such a place?

Psalms 119:114 – “Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

Psalms 119:115 – Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

How Are We to Become In God’s Image?

That is a good question, seeing that we did not create ourselves. There is a God that desires to help us become what He will be pleased with. We were created in His Image, so therefore, we must look, act and speak what is in His divine will for our lives. Gen. 1:27

An Image is a replica (an exact copy or model) of something already existing. Let me just add, it is one on a smaller scale. Also, we are not claiming to be “little” gods, with the same power, not by a long shot, but in the “likeness” of God. This “likeness” of God is referred to as His Holiness”.

Scriptures says this, “Be ye Holy, for I am Holy” Leviticus 11:44. (King James Version). This can only become a reality for us, when we desire to be what God intended us to be for His glory.

How Do I Get a Peace of Mind?

What is the price of “Peace”? What do we have to give up to obtain this “peace” that the Bible talks about? What does it mean to have peace? These are questions we all want to be able to answer, for ourselves and others. Having this type of peace, helps us to cope with the frustrations and disappointments of life and helps us to find sense of it all.

Peace is not getting rid of the situations or problems, altogether, but learning how to deal with it, according to God’s Word. The Bible teaches, “Great peace, have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them”. (Psalms 119:165)

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7)

God is aware of everything that is going on in our lives and He has the answers that we need to move forward. All that is required is to ask for His help. God is such a gentleman, that He would not force Himself on anyone, regardly, of how much He desires the best for us. The Bible teach us, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (St. Matthew 7:7-8)
